Elliott Spitzer, who lost his governor’s seat because of paying a hooker $4000 of his own money is visibly upset by all the rich payoffs in bonus money to people who screwed the nation’s taxpayers out of billions of dollars and are being paid million dollar bonuses so they won’t quit their jobs.
Big Ell has a legitimate bone to pick, but again doesn’t know where to lay the blame.
An enraged public condemned the egregious payments of huge bonuses to the very people who caused the destruction of the world economy. Much of their anger was directed against President Obama and his Treasury director Timothy Geithner.
Unlike officials in earlier administrations who refused to accept responsibility for their actions, neither Obama or Geithner tried to weasel out. Each of them has said, “The buck stops here.”
Okay, that takes care of two bucks. Where the hell are the other two trillion?
When asked to criticize President Obama, George W Bush declined, saying that it was best to keep silent.
That’s so typical of ex-leaders. They wait until they are out of power before they say or do anything intelligent.
